Privacy Policy

1. The short version

PinClip is a free tool that downloads videos and images from public Pinterest links. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information to use it.

2. Information we process

• The Pinterest link you submit — used only to fetch the media you requested.
• Your IP address — read transiently to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. It is held only in short-lived in-memory state and is not stored in a database.
• Cached pin metadata — the title, URL and media link of a pin are kept in server memory for up to 24 hours to avoid repeatedly fetching Pinterest.

3. Cookies

PinClip itself does not set cookies. If we later add analytics or advertising, those third parties (for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense) may set their own cookies; we will update this page before doing so.

4. Third parties

Media files are downloaded from Pinterest's public content-delivery servers (pinimg.com). Your request for a specific pin is sent to Pinterest to retrieve that content. We are not affiliated with Pinterest, Inc.
