About PinClip

What PinClip is

PinClip is a free, independent web tool for saving videos, images, and GIFs from public Pinterest links. There is no account to create and no sign-up wall: you paste a link, preview what was found, and download the files you chose. PinClip is built and maintained by a small independent team that makes free, privacy-conscious web tools — including TweetClip, a downloader for Twitter/X videos.

How it works

When you submit a Pinterest link, our server reads the public pin data for that link, shows you the available media, and then transfers the file directly from Pinterest's content-delivery servers to your device. PinClip does not host, cache long-term, or claim ownership of any Pinterest content, and it cannot access private pins or boards — only media that is already publicly visible. If a pin cannot be downloaded, the tool tells you why instead of failing silently.

Privacy & data

PinClip works without an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal information. We use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (OpenPanel and Plausible) to understand whether the downloader works, and nothing else. The full details are in our privacy policy.

Content & copyright

PinClip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. “Pinterest” is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. Only download content you have the right to save — your own uploads, content used with the owner's permission, or content used in ways permitted by law. Rights holders can find takedown information on our DMCA page, and the rules for using the service in our terms.
