https://www.pinterest.com/pin/ followed by a long number. Regional domains such as pinterest.es, pinterest.co.uk, or pinterest.com.mx are equally valid.

pin.it short links

Which copied links will not work

Board and profile URLs (they name collections, not one Pin), copied captions with no URL at all, and ad links that leave Pinterest for an external shop cannot be turned into a video download.

Fix common download problems

Copy link is missing from the share sheet

Update the Pinterest app first. As a fallback, open the Pin in your mobile browser and copy the address bar URL — that method always exists.

Pasting shows the Pin's title, not a URL

You copied caption text instead of the link. Redo it with Share → Copy link, or copy from the address bar, and confirm the clipboard starts with http.

The link opens a different Pin than expected

A recommendation tile was probably open when you copied. Go back to your original Pin, open it fully, and copy again.

PinClip rejects the pasted link

Check that the value contains pinterest.com or pin.it. If you copied a whole chat message, paste it somewhere editable and keep only the URL.
